Running multiple agents in the background can expand research and design exploration while the user focuses elsewhere. That apparent productivity becomes questionable when token costs arrive and the value of each exploration is unclear. More parallel activity is not automatically more useful output. Agent orchestration therefore requires sequencing and stopping decisions based on expected value.
Why it matters: Without an economic feedback loop, teams can mistake computational activity for progress and consume budgets before learning which tasks deserve automation.
